2011 Access Valentine's Day Celebration On February 14th,
ALC-Tangier and the US State Dept's English Access Microscholarship
Program hosted an unforgettable Valentine's Day party that focused on
the theme of love. The students learnt about the history of Valentine's
Day and about how it is celebrated in the United States. To emphasize
the gift-giving aspect of the holiday, students were given chocolate
candy hearts, cards and red roses. The highlight of the evening was a
karaoke competition, where teachers and students sang their hearts out
to popular American ballads. Valentine's Day games included 'Pin the Bow
on the Cupid' and 'Poses in the Love Garden'. Thank you, Access
Program, for sponsoring an enjoyable and educational event! - Access teachers Anisa Sahibdeen, Jamila el Farse, Loubna Boumghait and Larbi Boukhari |
